Or, if you prefer, the Alternate Title: "Why I Shouldn't Be Allowed To Draw Hands"
Occasionally I need to call on Alice to rescue me from the fantasies replaying in my head and remind me that there is more to life than dreaming about animated underage Japanese schoolgirls. Or rather, as this hastily-put-together sketch suggests, she comes without my permission and drags me away crying. Sorry about the tiny size; I don't have access to any good digital cameras/scanners when I'm not at work... I based this drawing off of a concept I saw in this edition of Roman Dirge's Lenore (which is totally worth checking out, by the way, especially for all you Jhonen Vasquez and Tim Burton fans out there) [link] and in this clip from Constantine [link] ... I know that they are both based on a famous painting, but I don't know what the title of the original artwork is and who made it... |
